Brighton Therapist for Anxiety and Trauma Counselling

About me
I’m Sharon, an integrative psychotherapist with a deep commitment to relational, non‑shaming therapeutic work. I believe that healing happens through connection — being met with curiosity, steadiness, and genuine care. .
Clients often tell me they appreciate my calm presence, my clarity, and the experience of being deeply listened to in a steady, non‑judgemental way.
Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you — it’s about creating a relationship where you can unfold, understand yourself more deeply, and move toward a life that feels more congruent and grounded.
I bring over 15 years’ experience working with children and adults in complex health settings, including the NHS and children’s services. My practice is trauma-informed and rooted in care for the depth and complexity of the emotional world.

 How I work
I work collaboratively, at a pace that feels right for you, and I welcome the full range of your experience — the parts that feel clear, the parts that feel tangled, and everything in between.
My approach is psychodynamic and relational, grounded in the belief that many emotional struggles stem from early experiences and relationships. These patterns can shape how we see ourselves and relate to others, often in ways that feel limiting or painful. I offer a warm, compassionate space to explore these dynamics and support clients in reconnecting with their inner vitality. As our work together deepens, many clients notice themselves living with greater presence, openness, and a sense of authenticity.
